Conjunction
The conjunction is a word which merely joins two sentences together and sometimes words.
Examples:
- Birds fly but cattle don’t.
- She is brave but her sister is coward.
- He is 12 years old and his brother is 11 years.
- Ali can’t walk because he is ill.

Cumulative conjunction
Cumulative conjunction is used to add one sentence with another.
Examples of the cumulative conjunctions:
- Tariq stood first in the class and his father gave him a pizza.
- They toil not, neither do they spin.
- She must weep, or she will die.
Adverse conjunction
It is used to show adverse relationship between two sentences.
Examples:
Arena is hardworking but she is greedy also.
Correlative conjunction
As the name indicates, it is the conjunction which is used in pairs.
Examples:
Tipu sultan was not only a king but also a great soldier.
Compound conjunction
Some compounds are used as conjunctions like:
He gets up early in the morning so that he may reach the school in time.
