An adverb qualifies a verb, an adjective and another adverb.

There are examples of adverb:

Adverb of manner

The adverb which is used for describing the manner of doing a work is called adverb of manner.it answer the question “how”.

Examples of the adverb of manner are given below:

Badly, rightly, painfully are the examples of the adverb of manners.

Uses of adverb of manner in sentences:

  2. She speaks loudly.
  3. She was running fastly.
  4. Women were doing their work quietly.

Adverb of place

The adverb which is used for describing the place of work is called adverb of place.

It answer the question “where”.

The simple mean of adverb of place is describes the place of work.
